Only print can delivery that “hygge” moment

Print Business Magazine has published this article on the power of print to deliver what they call that “hygge” moment. Statistics relating to the impact of printed matter as opposed to its digital counterpart are presented following a survey by Touna, a research company.

Hygge has come into the UK lexicon recently and refers to the Danish ritual of enjoying life’s simple pleasures, or when something possesses a quality of cosiness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being.

With the article reporting that the majority of people believe they spend too much time on their digital devices, print is seen as a way of shutting out the digital world and getting back to basics by consuming content away from the sometimes intrusive glow of a glaring screen.

Letterbox Media provide a range of print and design services to help our clients create that special document or publication, for distribution to their target audience.
